WTC

Στις 11 Σεπτεμβρίου του 2001 οι Δίδυμοι Πύργοι του World Trade Center της Νέας Υόρκης, κατέρρευσαν ύστερα από τρομοκρατική επίθεση που προκάλεσε τον θάνατο πλέον των τριών χιλιάδων ανθρώπων. Η εικόνα των ερειπίων που άφησε η πτώση του WTC -αν και κατεδαφίστηκε λίγες μέρες μετά- σίγουρα ανταγωνίσθηκε σε κυκλοφορία ακόμη και τα πιο γνωστά μνημεία του κόσμου. Γ.Κ.

On September 11, 2001 the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York collapsed after a terrorist attack which left over three thousand dead behind it. The image of the rubble from the fall of the WTC -although removed a few days later- is certain to have competed against the images of the most famous monuments in the world. G.K.
